Arizona exports rise while imports drop

Over the year, exports to Mexico increased, while exports to Canada decreased. Arizona exports to Mexico increased 20.0% to $768.4 million, and exports to Canada fell 9.5% from last June to $239.6 million.

Imports from both Mexico and Canada decreased over the year in June. Arizona imports from Mexico fell 20.7% to $925.3 million, and imports from Canada fell 10.4% to $215.8 million.

Commodity flows through Arizona’s BPOE saw an increase in exports and a slight decrease in imports. Over the year, exports rose 9.1% to $990.4 million, and imports fell 1.4% to $2.4 billion.
