Mixed trade in February as exports to Canada fall

Over the year, Arizona exports to Mexico increased slightly, while exports to Canada decreased more significantly. Arizona exports to Mexico rose 3.3% to $763.1 million, and exports to Canada dropped 20.0% to $218.3 million.

Inversely, over the year imports from Mexico declined slightly, while imports from Canada increased. Arizona imports from Mexico dropped 5.5% to $1.1 billion, and imports from Canada rose 1.9% to $240.9 million.

Commodity flows through Arizona’s BPOE saw an increase in exports and a decrease in imports. Over the year, exports rose 6.4% to $1.1 billion, and imports fell 5.7% to $2.3 billion.
