Arizona exports to Mexico and Canada rose over the year in May

Arizona exports to Mexico rose 6.5% over the year in May, reaching $744 million. State exports to Canada were also up, rising by 4.2% over the year to hit $187 million.

Arizona imports from Mexico and Canada were also up over the year in May, with increases of 13.2% and 6.0%, respectively.

U.S. exports through Arizona border ports of entry also increased in May, rising 5.8% over the year and reaching $1.07 billion. U.S. imports through Arizona ports were valued at $1.9 billion in May, which was an increase of 17.5% over the year.
