Arizona exports rise, with Mexico outpacing Canada as a key destination

Over the year, Arizona exports to Mexico saw sizeable gains, and Arizona exports to Canda rose slightly over the year. Arizona exports to Mexico rose 28.3% to $843.7 million, and exports to Canda gained 4.2% from last September to $210.8 million.

Imports from Mexico decreased over the year in September, while imports from Canada increased. Arizona imports from Mexico fell 11.3% to $740.5 million, and imports from Canada rose 6.8% to $245.6 million.

Commodity flows through Arizona’s BPOE saw an increase in both exports and imports, Over the year, exports rose 7.2% to $1.1 billion, and imports expanded 5.7% to $2.0 billion.
