Over the year, exports to both Mexico and Canada decreased in May. Arizona exports to Mexico decreased 4.8% to $676.1 million, and exports to Canada fell 1.4% from last May to $239.8 million.

Similarly to exports, imports from both Mexico and Canada decreased over the year in May. Arizona imports from Mexico fell 3.2% to $1.1 billion, and imports from Canada decreased 13.3% to $220.8 million.

Commodity flows through Arizona’s BPOE saw increases in both exports and imports. Over the year, exports increased 3.9% to $1.1 billion, and imports rose 18.3% to $2.6 billion.
