2024 ends on a mixed note for trade growth

Over the year, Arizona exports to Mexico saw strong gains, while exports to Canada noted a smaller increase. Arizona exports to Mexico rose 20.3% to $733.3 million, and exports to Canada increased 5.2% to $237.8 million.
On the other hand, over the year imports from Mexico declined, while imports from Canda rose. Arizona imports from Mexico fell 7.1% to $857.94 million, and imports from Canada rose 4.4% to $227.2 million.
Commodity flows through Arizona’s BPOE saw an increase in both imports and exports. Over the year, exports rose 10.0% to $1.0 billion, and imports grew 3.5% to $$2.0 billion.
