EBRC's Alisha Kim traveled to Mexico City on November 27th to participate in an international colloquium – Coloquio Internacional: Integración económica en América del Norte perspectivas regionals – at the Center for Research on North America (CISAN) at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).

Dr. Kim was invited to give attendees Arizona’s regional perspective of economic integration in North America. We invite you to watch Dr. Kim's presentation.

Dr. Kim sat on a panel with two scholars from UNAM, Dr. Roberto Zepeda and Dr. Juan Carlos Barrón, as well as with Dr. Stéphane Paquin, a scholar from l’École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP) in Québec, Canada. Her presentation included a detailed examination of Arizona’s trade with both Mexico and Canada, as well as a look at border crossings and foreign direct investment as indicators of economic integration.
