Total All Southern U.S. Ports of Entry

The dynamics of commodity flows through Arizona’s border ports of entry reflect the composite effects of both the trade between Arizona and Mexico, and between Mexico, Canada and other U.S. states and that use Arizona’s border ports to import goods from Mexico. Also reflected in commodity flow dynamics are the effects of physical and human infrastructure capacities of border ports of entry, which affect general cross border flow, and wait times in particular. Among Arizona’s six border ports of entry, Nogales facilitates the largest volume and value of imports from Mexico. San Luis is distant second, followed by Douglas.
