Trade flows with both Mexico and Canada increased significantly over the year in October

Arizona exports to Mexico increased 16.0% over the year in October, for a total of $745 million. Exports to Canada from Arizona were up tremendously for a 50.2% increase, to $256 million.

Imports from Mexico were up 18.4%, totaling $850 million. Imports from Canada increased 16.0%, with a 2-year high figure of $242 million.

Commodity flows through Arizona’s BPOE also experienced year-over-year increases in imports and exports. Exports in October were up 7.7% from October 2021. Imports were up 14.6%.
